Were
you shown a lot of Valentine’s Day love? Do you have a lot of left over candy?
Well do not fret, I have a lesson that is educational, fun, and sweet, focusing
onCCSS.Math.Content.2.MD.D.10.
You can
students a variety of candy and have them represent the candy that they have
with bar graph. The students can work
individual and then as a group. It is helpful to go from a tally chart to a
bar. The examples I found do not fit the
Valentine’s Day theme, but you can modify the worksheets to work with the
theme.
